What equestrian sports or activities are you involved in?: I have extensive experience with horses. However, I am looking for opportunities for my twin girls to get exposure and experience with the love of horses. They will turn 6 on September 28th, 2010. So they are on the young side. But I am hoping that there are some activities that they can participate in with your organization. Even if it is just watching your special events at this time.

Are you a trainer?: No

Equestrian Organizations you belong to?: None currently.

We feel, as you obviously do, that horses and equestrian sports can teach kids so much in ways that drive home the message of communication and patience and teamwork as well as athletic skill and physical grace in one single package Your girls are young but there are many in the community who have students who are showing around So Cal at events at 7 years old, so now is a good time to start I think. There are also family events and there are many trainers and families who you could get to know that would be happy to share this lifestyle with you and get to know you. The next family event at the Malibu Equestrian Park is on Sunday Sept 12th, and this is a kind of a horsey playday with some classes in Western, some games classes and some equitation.
