- Trancas Riders and Ropers is the oldest organization in Malibu as it began in 1948 and was designed to bring the equestrian community together and share and learn and compete in sports and family fun around our horses and beautiful Malibu. We host events in both English and Western sports such as Hunter Equitation, Jumpers, Dressage, Gymkhana, Trail Rides, and our annual family events such as the Shrimp Show, the Horse Fair and numerous clinics and educational activities.
